MONTGOMERY, Ala., May 18, 2026 — The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department will open its public pools for the summer season on May 26, 2026.
The following pools will be open to the public:
- Gunter Pool – 2390 Cong W. L. Dickinson Drive
- Sheridan Heights Community Center – 3501 Faro Drive
- Regency Park Pool – 5995 Christy Lane
Admission: $2 per person for ages six and up (cash only; exact change preferred).
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, visitors must follow these pool guidelines:
- Proper swimwear is required.
- Jeans, shirts, and cover-ups are not allowed in the water.
- Boys’ swim trunks must have a built-in mesh lining.
- All bags must be clear for entry.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own towels and sunscreen. Certified lifeguards will be on duty at all pool sites.
Pool Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 1 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 1 p.m. --6p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m.–5 p.m.
