E.A.T. South is Montgomery’s Urban Teaching Farm. The farm is home to chickens, ducks, honey bees, wildlife, and around fifty-two different varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables each year. The farm is typically open Tuesdays - Saturdays until 5pm. If the gate is open, the public is welcome to stop by and see what’s growing.

E.A.T. South offers workshops and community programs for all ages focused on healthy eating and gardening. The farm is a site for field trips, family programs, community events, volunteer projects, and more. Check E.A.T. South’s website or Facebook page for upcoming activities or email info@eatsouth.org.

E.A.T South is located along Montgomery’s Riverwalk below Wright Brothers Park. The farm can be accessed from stairs leading down from Wright Brothers Park or from Molton Street. From Molton Street, turn at the green park sign by the Montgomery Advertiser. Drive between the two buildings, and you will see the farm’s red caboose. Park in the large lot is free.
