A regional destination park, Gateway Park welcomes visitors to the southwestern part of the city. Featuring Gateway Lodge, a 9-hole Executive Golf Course, a baseball/softball complex, football/soccer playing fields, and a lake large enough for water skiing and fishing, the park has something for every member of the family. Multiple walking trails, playgrounds and picnic shelters provide a place for fun and relaxation. Both Gateway Lodge and the picnic shelters are available for rental events. *The Golf Course is CLOSED on Mondays*

Special Event Permits are required for all shelter rentals. Please have your event permit submitted 20 days prior to your event. If you have questions regarding your event permit, please call 334-625-2300. 

Gateway Park Lodge 
The lodge has large outdoor decks and approximately 5,800 square feet of climate controlled space, including restrooms. Tables and chairs are available to accommodate 200 (seated). There is a caterer’s kitchen (no cooking) with sink and counter space. A large fireplace with gas logs is located in the main room. Also, just off the main room is an octagonal club tower with an in-the-round serving bar. No band or P.A. equipment is furnished

A $300 security deposit is required to reserve the lodge.

The deposit will be forfeited in case of reservation cancellation, exceeding the allotted rental time, or causing damage to any city property. 

*ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING BUT OTHERWISE IS PROHIBITED ON THE PREMISES. FISHING FROM THE DECK PIER IS PROHIBITED.

Rental Rates-Monday-Sunday

• Any six hours, including setup, between 8am – midnight is $1,000.00
• Every hour after the first six hours will be $150 per hour
• A minimum of six hours is required to rent the facility

Groups over 50 will require POLICE OFFICERS at an additional cost to the renter.
*ONE SECURITY PERSON FOR EVERY 25 MINORS IS REQUIRED.

A SIGNED AGREEMENT AND A $300.00 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO CONFIRM A RESERVATION FOR THE LODGE.
FULL PAYMENT OF THE RENTAL FEE IS DUE THIRTY DAYS IN ADVANCE.
