Hannah Daye Ridling Bark Park

On May 2nd the dedication ceremony for Montgomery's newest park took place.  The Hannah Daye Ridling Bark Park opened yesterday to a wonderful crowd full of people and their four-legged pets.  The new park has two areas; one for small dogs and the other for large dogs.  Both areas have a gazebo, washing station, multiple benches and water fountains.

Plant It! Montgomery

There may be rain today, but there is sure to be sunshine tomorrow!  It will be the perfect day to come out to Oak Park and take part in Plant It! Montgomery.  The event will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude no later than 11 a.m.  There will be speakers that will be discussing topics from recycling to conservation, as well as the presentation of the Betty Fitzgerald award, which will be presented to someone responsible for beautification around Montgomery.  Along with the speakers and award presentation there will be demonstrations of rain barrels, gardening and tree planting.  There will also be arts and crafts for the children.  Information booths will be available so that the public can visit and ask questions of Master Gardeners.  Door prizes will be give away; which include tomato plants and trees.  Plant It! Montgomery is a great outdoor event and perfect for the entire family!

Triathlon and Kids Duathlon

Coming up on April 27th & 28th the Capital of Dream Triathlon and Kids Duathlon will be held in Downtown Montgomery at the Riverfront.  The Kids Duathlon will be held on Saturday, April 27th.  There will be two race distances offered on Sunday, April 28th.  Visit TeamMagic.Com to register and for more information!

New Additions

The new scoreboard is up at Cramton Bowl! It has been added onto the side of the Multiplex facing Madison Street. In addition to the scoreboard, the multiplex now has two basketball courts that are ready to be played on! Check out some pictures of the new additions to the Multiplex and Cramton Bowl below!

New Years Eve

New Years Eve is in less than five days and Downtown Montgomery is getting ready to help you ring in the new year!  Join us downtown as we bring in 2013 with a Virtual Rise and Fireworks.  There will also be live music and restaurants throughout downtown will be in participation!  This event is FREE to the public, with the exception of food, beverages, etc...

Christmas is Approaching!

Good Morning All!! Christmas is fast approaching and there is no better place to celebrate the upcoming holiday than Downtown Montgomery!  Dream in December is in full swing, so make sure you come out for a good time!  This Thursday marks the beginning of the first full weekend of Dream in December with a snow machine, a christmas village, market place, tacky lights trolley rides, horse drawn carriage rides and so much more!  This is a perfect family fun event!
