If you missed this weekend down at the Riverfront you missed a lot.  The Zombie Prom/Walk took place on Friday night, which had a turnout of around 500 people and benefited the Montgomery Food Bank.  The Hogs N' Hens Cookoff, benfiting Family Promise of Montgomery, had a huge turnout, filling up the Train Shed.  The Montgomery Half-Marathon brought more than 2,000 participants to Montgomery.  The runners had a scenic route that included passing through downtown, by local colleges along with the Governor's mansion.

Michael Green of Troy won the Half-Marathon in the male division with a time of 1:08:33 and Casey McDermott took 1st place in the female division with 1:20:55.  Team PCA Fleet placed 1st in the Half-Marathon Relay with a time of 1:42:09.  Team members included  Paul Ewing (14), Evan McCullers (15), Ansley Story (14) and Madison Thompson (14).  Wesley Curles won the 5K race in the male division with a time of 17:30, while Stephanie Lutz won the female division with 20:16.

Saturday night the Scream tour came to Montgomery bringing acts Mindless Behavior, Diggy and others.  The concert set a record for ticket holders with nearly 4,000 ticket sold.  When Mindless Behavior took that stage at 9 p.m. you could hear the screams of the crowd from a mile away.
