Hello everyone!!  Has anyone realized that Christmas is a little over two months away?  Have you started your shopping?  No?  Well...the 24th Annual Holiday Market that is coming up this weekend is a perfect place to start! This year, it will be held at the Multiplex @ Cramton Bowl.  Come check it out!

Upcoming Events

If you are looking for things to do within the next month, then look no further!  In less than two week Downtown Montgomery will be overrun with zombies, as the Zombie Walk returns.  Admission is only one can of food, which will be donated to the Montgomery Area Food Bank.  In conjunction with the zombie walk there will be a "Cruise of the Living Dead" offered by the Harriott II for only $13/person.  The Riverwalk Wine Festival is coming back to Riverfront Park on October 13th from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.  Admission is $25/person.  Like last year there will be a Wine Fest Cruise offered, with boarding beginning at 4:30 p.m.  With a festival ticket cruise admission is only $10/person.  Without a festival ticket admission will be $20/person.  Montgomery's Junior League will be holding the 24th annual Holiday Market and this year it will take place in the new addition to downtown, the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.  Make plans to come between the dates of October 17th - 20th and shop 'til you drop!  Make sure to bring your appetite to Riverwalk Stadium on October 20th for the Capiol City Chili Cook Off.  The Montgomery Lions Club will, once again, be holding this event to benefit their various charities.  Tickets are only $10/person for this event.  The AHSAA Super Regional Volleyball Tournament will be taking place from October 24th - 27th in the Multiplex.  More information TBA.  To cap off the month, the Harriott II will be holding its annual "Haunting on the Harriott Cruise!"  Tickets are priced at $20/person and this is an Adult Cruise Only

Zombie Walk/Night of the Living Dead Cruise

The end of September brings the Zombie Walk and the "Night of the Living Dead" Cruise!  Both events will be happening on Friday, September 28th.  I hope you will make plans to join in the on the fun!  For the Zombie Walk, you are asked to bring one non-perishable food item to donate to the Montgomery Area Food Bank.  The Cruise is only $13/person.  Check out a few of the pictures from last years event!

Summer Pops Concert

 The Montgomery Symphony will be holding a FREE outdoor Summer Pops Concert this Friday Night, beginning at 7 p.m.  Bring your blankets, picnic baskets, lawn chairs and coolers for a night on the steps of the Alabama Archives and History Building!  This is a family fun event and it will be a beautiful night to be outdoors and enjoy the music of the Orchestra.  There will also be a cameo appearance by the Montgomery Music Project.  Don't miss out on the excitement!
