Ball Season Has Arrived

Lagoon Park, Fain Park and Paterson Field will be busy throughout the month of April! High School and College Baseball and Softball Season is in full swing, not to mention travel ball teams and the Adult Softball League.  Check out the schedules below to stay in on all of the action!

2017 Harriott II Schedule

The Harriott II 2017 Schedule is now available!  All cruises are being posted on the Event Calendar, but you can view the full schedule below.  A few new additions/changes are in store for the 2017 season.  We will now be offering lunch cruises on Saturday during the months of June and July.  Also, Dinner Cruises on both Friday and Saturday nights during those same months will be available, as well as Party Cruises.  Book your cruise today!

Zombie Walk and Prom

The Zombie Walk and Prom will be held on Friday, September 30th and will begin at the corner of Dexter and North Perry Streets at 7 p.m.  The prom will be held in the Alley. You must bring a non-perishable item to participate in the Zombie Walk/Prom. This event will benefit the Montgomery Area Food Bank.

Lagoon Park Trail Opening

The Lagoon Park Trail opened to the public on Monday, March 28, 2016.  The trail has a total of five miles of walking and biking trails.  You can find pictures from the opening below.

2016 NHPA World Horseshoe Tournament

The 2016 World Horseshoe Tournament is coming to Montgomery!  This tournament will take place from July 25th - August 6th at the Montgomery Multiplex @ Cramton Bowl!  This is an event you don't want to miss!

Spring Softball League

The Adult Spring Softball League will begin in April.  Signup will take place until March 25th and the league fee is $575.  You may up your entry form at Lagoon Park Softball Complex. A coach's meeting will take place at Pete Peterson Lodge on March 21st at 6 p.m.  There will be League Champion and Tournament Champion named at the end of the season.  If you're looking for something fun to participate in this is definitely for you!!

Fall is Here

The season is changing and with a new season brings a new string of events that you can only find this time of year!  If you are a wine lover you do not want to miss the Riverwalk Wine Festival that will be held in Riverfront Park on Saturday, October 11th.  The tickets for this event are only $25.  Also, if you purchase a wine festival ticket you can get a Wine Fest Cruise ticket to take a ride on the Harriott II for only $10.  The Wine Fest Cruise is not the only specialty cruise that the Harriott II has in store for you during the month of October.  This month brings Halloween, which means that the Haunting on the Harriott is back!  Tickets for this cruise are $25 per person and you must be 21 & Over to ride!

Youth Fishing Club

Come Join the Youth Fishing Club!  The Montgomery City and County Parks and Recreation Departments will be sponsoring a Youth Fishing Club that will be available for children from the ages of 11-18.  An informational meeting will be held in Gateway Lodge at Gateway Park on August 30th at 10:00 a.m.
