Ride the Harriott II Riverboat , take in a ball game, attend a great concert, take the kids for a day of fun in a neighborhood park, play a few rounds of Golf , enjoy a Tennis Match , or get some invigorating exercise on one of our scenic walking trails.  The Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department has something for everyone!

Don't miss the Independence Day Celebration at Blount Cultural Park on Tuesday, July 3rd!  It will be a perfect outing for the entire family!

Newtown

The Newtown Community Center in north central Montgomery is the home to both a Montgomery Area Council on Aging program for senior adults, and a Head Start school. Featuring a large meeting space with stage, classrooms, offices and a large kitchen, the center primarily offers after school and summer programs for children.
