Ride the Harriott II Riverboat, take in a ball game, attend a great concert, take the kids for a day of fun in a neighborhood park, play a few rounds of Golf, enjoy a Tennis Match, or get some invigorating exercise on one of our scenic walking trails.  The Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department has something for everyone! 

The Capital of Dreams Triathlon will take place on Saturday, May 30th.  Registration will close on May 27th.

Registration for the 2015 Gump Games is now open!  It will take place at the Multiplex on Saturday, June 13th.

 

If you wish to hold an event in the City of Montgomery you must apply for a Special Event Permit.  Click Here to read the handbook and complete the form.

 

Therapeutic Recreation Center

The Therapeutic Recreation Center, one of Montgomery’s proudest accomplishments, makes recreation accessible to our city’s special population. The 26,000-square-foot facility is barrier-free and features a large gymnasium, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, weight room, game room, meeting rooms, locker rooms and a kitchen.
